LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Serenic Software, Inc., a developer of accounting software for not-for-profit organizations (NFPs) and government agencies, announced today that it has named NonProfit Technologies, Inc. as its “Partner of the Year” for 2004.  The announcement was made last month at Serenic Software’s annual user’s group conference, called Explorations ‘04, in Washington, D.C.   The conference was attended by more than 100customers and 20 partners of Serenic Software.  NonProfit Technologies, Inc. is a West Palm Beach, Fla.-based information systems consulting firm owned and managed by the CPA firm of Massey, Porter & DePalma.  Founded in 1990, the firm provides mid to large-sized nonprofit and governmental agencies with a full suite of business-focused technology solutions, including strategy, process improvement, custom software development, off-the-shelf software, security analysis, and network services. With offices in West Palm Beach, Orlando, and Santa Fe, NonProfit Technologies has provided "turn key" accounting solutions to nearly 600 public sector organizations throughout the United States.  NonProfit Technologies has been a value-added reseller of Serenic Navigator for three years. Among the firm’s noteable achievements in 2004 was helping secure the Lee County Tax Collector (LCTC) as a Serenic Software client. LCTC’s total purchase included 15 concurrent licenses of Serenic Navigator and customization services. NonProfit Technologies and LCTC are currently in the process of implementing the software, with a projected “live” date in October 2004. 

According to Jay Malik, Serenic’s president and chief executive officer, NonProfit Technologies was chosen as partner of the year because of its past performance and future promise. “While NonProfit Technologies performed well for us in 2004, as evidenced by the Lee County deal, I believe the firm is well positioned for even greater success in 2005. I fully expect NonProfit Technologies will double the number of new Serenic Navigator clients it wins this year as compared to last year.”
